Artist Bio

I am passionate about art and teaching, and have had the privilege to combine both for most of my life. Born In Columbus Ohio, currently living in Boca Raton, and spending summers in Toronto, I have developed a passion for capturing the essence of the busy city and the serenity of nature I encounter. For me, the natural beauty and color in the landscape is the primary focus of my work. My process frequently develops from Plein Air watercolor sketches to larger pieces in acrylic, mixed media, and oil. Hopefully through my paintings the viewers will be able to experience everyday places and spaces in a new light.

I am currently a member of the Coral Springs Artist Guild, Women in the Visual Arts, Palm Beach Watercolor Society and the National Art Education Association.

Commissions Available

The majority of my watercolors and some of the smaller acrylic paintings have been painted on location while traveling. Many of these works develop further with the use of photos and additional sketches into larger works on canvas. I am happy to work on a commission basis, so if you see one that you like, I can paint an original or produce a canvas reproduction in any size that you prefer.
